Overview:

Hierographx is seeking a dependable, highly organized Agency Assistant to support day-to-day operations across departments. This is an entry-level, in-office role.

While the position includes general administrative tasks such as answering phones, greeting clients, and managing office supplies, it extends far beyond a traditional front desk role. The ideal candidate is friendly, detail-oriented, and eager to learn. This is a strong starting point for someone interested in building a career in digital marketing.

This is a hands-on opportunity to contribute meaningfully across departments while building foundational skills that can grow into a long-term career within our agency.

You’ll assist project coordinators in organizing and tracking tasks, support the sales team with client follow-ups and scheduling, and contribute to the overall efficiency of our internal systems. The right candidate will be proactive, professional, and able to adapt quickly to shifting priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational & Administrative Support

  • Answer phones and greet office visitors professionally
  • Keep the office space organized and stocked with necessary supplies
  • Retrieve mail, manage errands, and support internal scheduling needs
  • Assist any team member with general support tasks as needed
  • Help leadership team with administrative tasks such as reports, presentations, or conducting light research

Project & Marketing Support

  • Assist Project Coordinators in maintaining tasks and timelines
  • Monitor internal communication channels to ensure follow-through
  • Aid Project Coordinators with written website content
  • Schedule and publish pre-written blogs and social media posts
  • Maintain content calendars and track scheduled posts across platforms
  • Oversee light ad updates or monitoring in Meta Ads Manager
  • Help Project Coordinators support SEO efforts

Sales Support

  • Assist in monitoring inbound leads
  • Follow up with leads and schedule discovery calls
  • Maintain records of outreach and assist with CRM activity
  • Gain a working knowledge of services and respond to basic client questions

Content Coordination

  • Work with contract writers to assign blog and web content based on project needs
  • Help develop blog topics and content direction in line with client goals and brand voice
  • Review submitted content for tone, grammar, and clarity
  • Coordinate content edits and revisions with writers

Qualifications

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Friendly, confident, and professional demeanor
  • Exceptional organization and attention to detail
  • Able to manage multiple priorities at once
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar, Gmail, etc.)
  • Comfortable navigating new platforms and digital tools
  • Willing to ask questions, take feedback, and work collaboratively
  • Available full-time, on-site at our Saginaw office

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
