Agent Coordinator

Position Summary:

American Van Lines is one of the nation’s largest independent moving companies and we’re growing fast! As the official movers of the Florida Panthers, we take pride in delivering championship-level service both on and off the road.

We’re looking for a highly organized, quick-thinking Agent Coordinator to support our brokerage operations within the moving industry. In this role, you will act as the central point of coordination between customers and vendors (hauling agents, carriers, and service providers), ensuring each move is properly planned, communicated, and executed. What You’ll Do

• Serve as the primary point of contact between customers and vendors throughout the moving process
• Coordinate vendor assignments for interstate moves, including booking, confirmations, and service coverage
• Act as the agent intermediary, ensuring expectations are clearly communicated and met on both sides
• Provide customer service support by addressing and resolving issues that arise during pickup, transit, or delivery
• Communicate proactively to ensure smooth, on-time execution of moves
• Review vendor availability, capacity, and performance to ensure service standards are maintained
• Assist with work order updates, changes, and documentation related to vendor services
• Troubleshoot service issues quickly and effectively while maintaining strong vendor relationships
• Maintain accurate records, notes, and follow-ups on all active and completed moves

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience working as an agent or in a moving brokerage environment (required)
• Household goods moving industry experience (required)
• Experience coordinating vendors, carriers, or third-party service providers (required)
• Strong multitasking and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
• Customer service mindset with strong problem-solving skills
• Solid understanding of interstate moving operations and U.S. geography
• High attention to detail and consistent follow-through
• Ability to stay calm, professional, and effective under pressure
