What You’ll Do
- Design and configure enterprise-wide Jira project structures, workflows, issue types, custom fields, boards (Scrum and Kanban), and permission schemes that align with SAFe, Scrum, or Kanban frameworks
- Implement and configure Jira Align for portfolio-to-team visibility, connecting strategic themes and OKRs through epics and features to team-level stories and sprints
- Coach agile teams on effective backlog management, sprint planning, and retrospective practices using Jira and Confluence as the primary collaboration platform
- Create advanced dashboards, reports, and analytics using JQL, EazyBI, BigPicture, Structure, or other Atlassian marketplace apps to surface flow metrics, velocity, predictability, and transformation health
- Lead Atlassian tool migrations, including Server-to-Cloud transitions, instance consolidations, and integrations with third-party platforms (Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, GitHub, Jenkins)
- Develop and enforce standardized tooling governance across multiple teams, ARTs, and business units, including naming conventions, workflow standards, and field configuration schemes
- Integrate Jira with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps toolchains to enable end-to-end traceability from requirements through deployment and release
- Train and certify client teams on Atlassian tool best practices, agile analytics interpretation, and self-service dashboard creation
- Serve as the primary liaison between coaching/process teams and IT/platform teams to ensure tool decisions support agile maturity goals
- Conduct tool health assessments and optimization audits for prospective and existing clients, producing actionable roadmaps for improvement
