Overview:
The AH-64 Armament Repairman is a critical member of the aviation maintenance team responsible for the inspection, repair, and maintenance of armament systems on AH-64 Apache attack helicopters. This role involves expertise in troubleshooting, repairing, and testing various armament components to ensure the optimal functionality and combat readiness of the aircraft.
Responsibilities:
- Armament System Maintenance:

Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair AH-64 armament systems, including guns, rockets, missiles, and targeting systems.

Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance to ensure compliance with technical specifications and safety standards.

Conduct functional tests and diagnostics on armament components to verify proper operation.

Aircraft Integration:

Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to integrate and synchronize armament systems with the overall aircraft configuration.

Ensure proper alignment and calibration of weapons systems to maximize accuracy and effectiveness.

Technical Documentation:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all armament maintenance activities.

Complete required forms, reports, and log entries in compliance with military regulations and procedures.

Safety Compliance:

Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines during all maintenance activities.

Identify and report potential safety hazards related to armament systems.

Training and Support:

Provide guidance and support to junior armament repair personnel.

Qualifications:
- Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or military training in armament systems is preferred.

Military occupational specialty (MOS) (15Y,15R, etc.) or equivalent experience in AH-64 armament systems.

Knowledge of AH-64 Apache helicopter armament systems and associated technologies.

Experience with specialized tools and test equipment used in armament maintenance.

Familiarity with military maintenance procedures and documentation.
