About the Team

Beam’s AI Agent Deployment team sits at the intersection of AI, product, and client impact. We partner closely with customers to understand their workflows, design intelligent automation solutions, and ensure our agents deliver real business value. Our work spans workflow design, agent configuration, technical integration, and ongoing optimization. We collaborate with engineering, ML, and product teams to translate abstract problems into scalable, agentic systems that work in the real world. This is a high-context, high-ownership environment where Deployment engineers operate with autonomy, move fast, and shape both how Beam’s platform evolves and how our customers succeed.

About the Role

We're looking for an AI Agent Engineer to join Beam and help us deliver AI-powered solutions! In this role, you'll be at the core of our automation platform, designing and refining AI-driven workflows through prompt engineering and hands-on problem-solving. You’ll work closely with the team to understand business needs and help build agents that drive real impact.

We’re especially looking for someone with a technical foundation and programming skills, who is comfortable learning new tools and translating process requirements into automated workflows. Responsibilities

Your work will focus on agent building and prompt design, while collaborating with team members to support project delivery. The key responsibilities include:

• Build AI agents using our no-code platform, focusing on prompt creation and automation workflows.
• Present demonstrations of your AI agents, showing how they address business needs and improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with the internal team to scope use cases, break down processes, and translate them into agent logic.
• Support integration efforts by understanding basic API connections and working with our technical team.
• Participate in internal testing, feedback cycles, and training sessions to build skills in agent creation and no-code tools.
• Contribute to improving workflows by sharing learnings from experimentation and demo creation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI/ML or a related technical field.
• Prior experience (e.g., internships, academic projects, or part-time roles) in technical roles such as Solutions or deployment Engineering, or Implementation Support.
• Interest in prompt engineering and willingness to learn hands-on.
• Programming knowledge, ideally in Python or Node.js.
• Ability to break down business processes and think analytically about automation.
• Basic understanding of how APIs work and how systems connect.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Interest in AI technologies and a willingness to learn in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with no-code tools such as Zapier, Make, Relevance AI, Lindy, or similar.
• Background in AI/ML or experience applying AI to business workflows.
• Experience in fast-paced or startup environments.
