Duties
- Develop and optimize machine learning models focused on computer vision and natural language processing using frameworks such as TensorFlow and other AI tools.
- Lead end-to-end model training, validation, and deployment processes in cloud environments like AWS, ensuring scalability and robustness.
- Design efficient ETL pipelines for large-scale data ingestion, transformation, and storage using tools like Talend, Hadoop, Spark, and SQL databases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into existing systems through APIs or custom applications developed in Java or Python.
- Conduct data mining and analysis on linked data sources to uncover insights that enhance model accuracy and system performance.
- Implement model evaluation metrics, fine-tuning techniques, and unsupervised learning methods to improve predictive capabilities.
- Manage database design for storing structured and unstructured data efficiently while ensuring security and compliance standards are met.
- Deploy models into production environments with a focus on continuous monitoring, updating, and scaling using cloud services such as AWS or container orchestration tools.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends in quantum engineering, big data analytics, and machine learning frameworks to incorporate innovative approaches into projects.
Skills
- Proven experience with machine learning frameworks including TensorFlow, Spark MLlib, or similar platforms.
- Code writing- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, C, Bash (Unix shell), VBA or R for data analysis and model development.
- Expertise in natural language processing techniques for text analysis and understanding complex language models.
- Deep understanding of big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, SQL databases, and ETL processes for handling large datasets.
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms like AWS for scalable model training and deployment.
- Knowledge of database design principles for both relational (SQL) and NoSQL systems.
- Experience with data mining techniques to extract actionable insights from linked data sources.
- Ability to implement unsupervised learning algorithms for pattern recognition without labeled data.
- Skills in model deployment strategies including containerization (Docker) or serverless architectures on cloud platforms.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in analytics tools such as Looker or SAS for reporting insights.
- Knowledge of quantum engineering principles applicable to advanced AI research is a plus but not required. Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
