Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented AI-Augmented Quality Assurance Engineer to join our QA team. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong foundation in Quality Assurance principles who also embrace modern AI tools to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and overall testing impact.

We require someone who understands end-to-end QA practices, can think critically about product quality, and uses automation and AI as powerful accelerators—not replacements—for strong QA judgment. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with AI-driven projects, leverages GenAI tools in their daily workflow, and can communicate findings clearly to clients and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Assurance Ownership

• Analyze product requirements, user journeys, and acceptance criteria to deeply understand the quality landscape.
• Design, maintain, and execute functional, regression, exploratory, usability, and API tests using both manual and automated approaches.
• Ensure full testing coverage by identifying edge cases, risk areas, and gaps.
• Clearly document defects with detailed reproduction steps, expected vs. actual behavior, and impact analysis.
• Participate in client-facing QA discussions when required, confidently communicating quality insights.

AI-Augmented Testing & Productivity

• Use GenAI tools extensively to accelerate QA tasks, such as:
• Test case generation & optimization
• API test generation
• Automation script suggestions
• Log analysis
• Release note summarization
• Bug analysis or RCA support
• Actively explore new AI tools and techniques to improve speed, quality, and reliability of QA deliverables.
• Apply AI-assisted reasoning to identify potential product risks and missing scenarios.

Automation & Technical Testing

• Develop and maintain automated test cases and suites using tools like Cypress, Playwright, Katalon, etc.
• Support API automation using tools like Postman/Newman, or AI-assisted API testing scripts.
• Assist in improving automation strategies and identifying areas best suited for automation.

Collaboration & Communication

• Work closely with developers, business teams, product owners, and client stakeholders.
• Communicate findings clearly and confidently, both verbally and in documentation.
• Participate in requirement discussions, risk assessments, and sprint ceremonies as needed.
• Ensure alignment between QA tasks, project goals, and client expectations.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline.

Skills

• Strong grasp of core QA concepts: test design, scenarios, bug lifecycle, risk-based testing.
• Experience writing structured test plans, test cases, and QA documentation.
• Hands-on knowledge of automation frameworks (Cypress, Playwright, Selenium) and scripting languages (JS, Python, or Java).
• Experience with AI-driven QA tools or AI-based product testing.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum, CI/CD workflows, and Git-based version control.
• Strong communication skills—able to convey issues, insights, and recommendations clearly.

Experience

• 1-2 year of professional experience in QA (Manual + Automation).
• Must have worked on AI-related projects or used AI in QA workflows.
