You are:
A best in class, hands-on Snowflake Data & Analytics Engineer with deep expertise in building modern, cloud native data solutions. You excel at designing and implementing robust ELT data pipelines into Snowflake, modeling data for analytics and reporting, and optimizing workloads for performance, quality, and cost. You are comfortable working across Snowflake, Azure Databricks, and other data services and can partner closely with analytics and business teams to turn raw data into actionable insights.
You are curious, detail oriented, and passionate about writing clean, efficient code. You thrive in fast paced environments and are motivated by solving hard data problems that unlock business value.

Key Responsibilities:
Snowflake ELT Development
Design, build, and maintain high quality ELT/ETL pipelines that ingest data from diverse on premise and cloud sources into Snowflake using tools such as Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, dbt, or similar frameworks.
Data Modeling & Analytics Enablement
Develop and maintain scalable, analytics ready data models (e.g., star/snowflake schemas, data marts, wide tables) optimized for reporting, dashboards, and self-service analytics use cases.
Performance, Reliability & Cost Optimization
Analyze and tune Snowflake workloads (warehouses, queries, clustering, caching) to ensure predictable performance, reliability, and efficient credit consumption at scale.
Data Quality & Observability
Implement data quality checks, reconciliation logic, and monitoring to ensure data is accurate, complete, and timely. Work with governance and QA teams to embed quality controls into the pipeline
Collaboration with Stakeholders
Partner with analytics, BI, data science, and business teams to understand requirements and translate them into robust technical data solutions that support reporting, advanced analytics, and AI initiatives.
Documentation & Best Practices
Produce clear, maintainable documentation for pipelines, data sets, and jobs. Contribute to and adopt engineering best practices, reusable patterns, and internal accelerators for Snowflake and Databricks.
Support Migration & Modernization Efforts
Contribute to data platform modernization and migration efforts (e.g., moving from legacy warehouses to Snowflake on cloud), ensuring minimal disruption to downstream analytics and reporting.
This is a hybrid role in Tampa, FL and will require 3 days per week in the office.
What you need:
A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in data engineering / data warehousing / analytics engineering, working on production grade data solutions
A minimum of 2 years of recent, hands-on experience with Snowflake Cloud Data Platform, including: designing and implementing ELT pipelines into Snowflake, working with warehouses, databases, schemas, stages, and leveraging Snowflake features such as Time Travel, Streams & Tasks, and Snowpipe for ingestion
A minimum of 1 year of experience with SQL and at least one ETL/ELT or orchestration tool such as Azure Data Factory, dbt, Informatica, Airflow or equivalent
Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)
Bonus points if you have:
Solid understanding of data modeling and warehousing concepts:
Familiarity with version control and DevOps practices:
Strong problem solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in agile, cross functional teams.
Building scalable data transformations using PySpark/Scala, integrating with Snowflake, and optimizing jobs for performance and cost.
Streaming / real time data processing – Experience with Kafka, Event Hubs, Kinesis, or Snowpipe Streaming.
Data quality / observability tools – Such as Great Expectations, Monte Carlo, Soda, or similar frameworks.
Integrating Snowflake with BI & visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Qlik, etc.).
Working in regulated or data sensitive industries (e.g., life sciences, healthcare, financial services), and applying strong governance, security, and privacy practices.
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
