Location: Egypt (Cairo).

As an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Developer will join our growing DTPS Visual Analytics team. He/She will be responsible for designing and developing AI applications and systems that drive innovation and improve our existing products and services. He/She will focus on developing the tools, systems, and processes that enable artificial intelligence to be applied in the real world. Any application where machines mimic human functions, such as solving problems and learning, can be considered artificial intelligence. This role includes AI development in Power BI to deliver intelligent, data-driven visual analytics.

He/She will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, data engineers, and product managers, to bring AI-powered solutions to life.

YOUR NEW KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Part of a team responsible for charting the AI strategy and defining the problems to be solved with AI.
• Integration of advanced AI features into Power BI reports.
• Use of AI visuals like decomposition trees, key influencers, and Q&A.
• Collaboration with business users to deliver intelligent, AI-powered dashboards.
• Embedding machine learning models into Power BI using Azure ML.
• Enabling predictive analytics and NLP (Natural Language Processing) within reports.
• Participate in code and design reviews to maintain a high-quality codebase.
• Collaborate across teams to help with AI adoption and best practices.
  

ARE THESE YOUR SECRET INGREDIENTS?

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in AI, machine learning, or applied analytics, ideally with a focus on business intelligence tools.
• Proven experience developing AI-powered solutions in Power BI, including use of AI visuals (e.g., key influencers, decomposition trees, Q&A), and integrating ML models via Azure ML.
• Strong understanding of Power BI architecture, DAX, Power Query, and data modeling best practices.
• Familiarity with Azure AI Services (e.g., OpenAI, AI Search, AI Language, AI Document Intelligence) and their integration into Power BI.
• Experience with Python and basic ML frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn) and model optimization in Power BI.
• Understanding of natural language processing (NLP) and its application in business reporting is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Machine Learning, Databricks, or Synapse Analytics is beneficial – focus on data preparation pipelines that feed into Power BI.
• Comfortable working in Agile environments using tools like Azure DevOps.
• Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Data Scientist Associate, Power BI Data Analyst Associate) are a plus.
• Strong analytical thinking, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
