AI Development Principal Engineer.Customer and Partner Management

Job Purpose

Support the development, testing and deployment of AI/ML models (OCR, conversational AI/chatbots, basic generative features, STT/TTS) and help integrate model outputs into production flows. Learn and contribute to PoCs and productization activities under senior guidance.

Report To Position Name

Model Development & Support Assist with data collection, cleaning, labeling and augmentation for NLP, OCR and speech tasks. Implement and run baseline ML/DL experiments (classification, simple sequence models, CNNs for vision). Assist in fine-tuning LLMs for narrow tasks and basic RAG pipelines (ingest embed retrieve generate). Speech & Conversational Features Support STT/TTS integration testing (e.g., open-source and cloud STT/TTS engines). Assist in chatbot flow testing and NLU tuning (intent/entity tests). Help validate voicebot prototypes for basic call flows. Integration & Deployment Support packaging models for deployment (containers), and collaborate with Platforms Engineers on end-point integration and API contracts. Participate in staging tests and simple monitoring (latency, throughput). Documentation & Learning Maintain experimental logs, model cards and basic reproducibility documentation. Contribute to PoC documentation and demo packages

QUALIFICATIONS_ESSENTIAL

Bachelor's in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or equivalent

QUALIFICATIONS_DESIRABLE

Troubleshoot training failures and data issues; escalate complex model problems

EXPERIENCE_ESSENTIAL

0–2 years (internships / project experience acceptable)

EXPERIENCE_DESIRABLE

Fundamentals of ML/DL, Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, basic NLP/OCR and STT/TTS
