Job Title: AI Engineer / Developer Relations
Location: San Francisco, CA (4 days on-site)
Compensation: $180k–$220k + Equity

About the Role

As an AI Engineer / Developer Relations Specialist, your role will be to inspire developers by showcasing what’s possible with our platform. You will:

• Build prototypes and examples for our Cookbook.
• Develop experimental projects such as Fragments or AI Analyst.
• Lead by example — creating projects that highlight the potential of our tools.

This role calls for creativity, speed, and strong product sense. You’ll work directly with users, take ownership of projects, and have the freedom to bring ideas from concept to launch, supported by a highly collaborative team.

Must-Have Skills

• 3+ years of software engineering experience, with a focus on building AI products.
• Strong proficiency in Python and TypeScript SDKs.
• Experience with Next.js for lightweight front-end/prototype development.
• Hands-on experience with LLM-powered products and agent building.
• Proven builder mindset — active GitHub, open source contributions, or notable side projects.
• Prior startup experience (Seed, Series A, or Series B preferred).
• Comfortable working directly with users and iterating quickly on feedback.
• Thrives in fast-paced environments and taking projects from 0 → 1.
• Excited about the latest trends in AI and developer tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $180,000.00 - $220,000.00 per year
