THE POSITION:
We are expanding our AI capabilities and seeking an Intermediate AI Engineer who can contribute to the design, development, and deployment of AI-powered features. You will work closely with senior engineers and architects to build robust ML systems and assist developers company-wide with AI integration and best practices. The successful hire will work from the Contour Software Karachi/Lahore/Islamabad office as part of the resource-center team that is an extension of the division-based R&D department.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Implement and test ML/AI components according to design specifications.
- Contribute to building secure, cloud-based AI infrastructure and workflows.
- Integrate LLMs and other AI models into software products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on data preprocessing, model deployment, and evaluation.
- Write clean, maintainable code and technical documentation.
- Provide practical implementation guidance to product and engineering teams.
- Participate actively in agile development processes and sprint planning.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science, ML/AI, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in software development including ML/AI development and deployment.
- Experience with Python and ML libraries (scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow).
- Familiarity with LLMs and model integration (via APIs or frameworks).
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms and related AI services.
- Solid analytical problem-solving skills, with strong written and verbal communication.
GOOD TO HAVE:
- Experience with MLOps tooling (e.g., MLflow, Kubeflow).
- Familiarity with AI governance and secure model deployment practices.
- Exposure to real-world production ML systems.
