AI-First Developer / Vibe Coder

Who we are

CyberGen is an AI consulting and implementation firm. We help enterprises move from "we should probably do something with AI" to production systems that actually ship. Our work spans AI strategy, agentic systems, custom platforms, and executive education — for clients ranging from port authorities to Fortune-listed enterprises.

The role

We're hiring AI-first developers — what some people call "vibe coders." This is not a developer who happens to use AI autocomplete. This is someone whose entire workflow is built around orchestrating Claude Code, Codex, agents, skills, and MCP servers to ship real products at 5–10x the speed of a traditional dev.

You think in pipelines. You architect projects so AI tools can actually help you. You know why your CLAUDE.md file matters more than half your codebase. You can take a Figma sketch (or a Loom rant from a client) and have a deployed product on Vercel by end of week — with a Supabase backend, proper auth, edge functions, and a UI that doesn't look like every other AI-generated landing page.

If the words agent, skill, context window, MCP server, RLS policy, and edge function all live rent-free in your head — keep reading.

What you'll actually do

  • Build end-to-end products for clients and CyberGen's internal portfolio — landing pages, dashboards, internal tools, agentic apps, full SaaS platforms.
  • Architect projects from day zero: folder structure, .md files, env management, slash commands, custom skills, MCP integrations, agent definitions.
  • Orchestrate Claude Code and Codex across long-running tasks — not just one-shot prompts.
  • Design and build custom skills and agents that extend what these tools can do for our team and clients.
  • Ship full-stack: Next.js + Vercel on the front, Supabase on the back, GitHub Actions in between.
  • Bring real design taste to every project. We hold ourselves to a higher bar than "it works."
  • Document everything so the next person (or the next agent) can pick it up without a 30-minute Loom.

What we are explicitly NOT looking for

Be honest with yourself before applying:

  • Generic purple gradient + glassmorphism + 3 floating cards landing pages. We've seen ten thousand. We will see yours.
  • shadcn defaults with zero customization, claimed as "design."
  • "AI built the whole thing" energy where you couldn't explain a single architectural decision.
  • Anyone treating Claude Code or Codex as a fancy autocomplete instead of as a collaborator.
  • Devs who copy-paste from ChatGPT and call themselves AI-first.
  • People who need to be told why three CTAs in a hero section is a problem.

If this stings a little, you might still be a fit — we all start somewhere. But level up before you apply.

How to apply

The application is the first filter. Read it carefully.

Click Apply Now on this page (or scan the QR code in the application dialog to apply from your phone) and submit:

  • Your CV / resume (PDF, DOC, or DOCX).
  • Full name, phone, and email so we can reach you.
  • One vibe-coded website or app. One. Your best. Live URL required. (If you submit five, we'll judge you on the worst one.) Paste the link in the Vibe-coded project link field — a GitHub repo URL works too if you want us to see how you structure projects, write commits, and document your work.
  • A 300-word write-up in the Tools used & project idea field. Tell us:
  • What it is and who it's for
  • Which AI tools you orchestrated (Claude Code, Codex, MCP servers — what skills/agents)
  • One non-obvious tradeoff you made and why
  • What you'd change if you rebuilt it tomorrow
  • (Optional) In the cover letter field, mention anything else you've shipped — products, open-source, writing, talks.

No emails, no PDFs of portfolios, no Notion links in lieu of a live product. Apply through the form.

We read every application. If your portfolio looks like every other AI-generated portfolio, we will see it. If you stand out, you'll hear back within a week.

What we offer

  • Real ownership of real projects with real clients
  • Direct mentorship from CyberGen's leadership team
  • Access to the full modern AI stack — no procurement battles for tools
  • A team that ships, not one that talks about shipping
  • Compensation calibrated to demonstrated capability, not years on a CV

CyberGen is an equal opportunity employer. We hire on demonstrated skill, taste, and judgment.

RequirementsMust-haves

You should be able to answer "yes" to most of these without flinching:

  • Claude Code: You've shipped real things with it. You know how memory, context, sub-agents, and slash commands work. You've written a CLAUDE.md you're actually proud of.
  • Codex: Same as above. You know when to reach for Codex vs. Claude Code and why.
  • Google Stitch + Claude artifacts: You use them as part of your design and prototyping workflow, not as toys.
  • Project anatomy: You can set up a clean repo from scratch — env files, secrets management, folder conventions, README, contribution guides, CI.
  • Skills & agents: You understand the difference, when to build each, and how to compose them into pipelines.
  • End-to-end pipeline:
  • Supabase — auth, RLS policies, edge functions, storage, realtime
  • Vercel — deployment, edge runtime, environment management, preview deployments
  • GitHub — branching strategy, Actions, automation, PR workflows
  • Design sense: You can look at a UI and tell us what's wrong with it in 30 seconds. You have opinions about typography, spacing, hierarchy, motion. You know that "modern" doesn't mean purple gradients and frosted glass.
  • Portfolio: At least one shipped, vibe-coded project that proves all of the above.

Bonus points

  • Custom MCP servers you've built and shared
  • Open-source skills you've published
  • Experience with Pinecone, Tavily, Anthropic SDK, OpenAI SDK, LangGraph
  • Familiarity with OpenClaw or other agentic coding frameworks
  • A genuine eye for design — type pairing, color theory, motion design, micro-interactions
  • You write — blog posts, LinkedIn, Twitter, anywhere. We value people who can teach what they know.
