Job Description

This is a remote position.

  • Clinical Data & Annotation


  • Review and annotate clinical cases, histories, and scenarios used to train and test AI models.


  • Label symptoms, danger signs, diagnoses, and management steps in structured formats.


  • Create high-quality reference answers and gold standards for model evaluation.



  • Guideline Development


  • Develop and refine clinical protocols, triage pathways, and decision logic for AI use.


  • Curate national and international guidelines for conversion into machine-readable formats.


  • Maintain clinical content libraries with version control and audit trails.



  • Validation of AI Outputs


  • Review AI-generated differentials, treatment suggestions, and referral advice.


  • Identify unsafe, biased, or clinically inappropriate recommendations.


  • Participate in benchmark, stress testing, and safety reviews before release.


  • Participate in regulatory approval processes and research studies to validate the safety and efficacy of AI tools.



  • Product & System Design


  • Act as a thought partner to engineers and product managers on clinical workflows.


  • Provide domain expertise to shape product features that align with real-world clinical workflows and patient care.


  • Design clinically relevant prompts, dialogue flows, and structured pathways (protocols, clinical workflows, and SOPs) for adaptive history taking, examination, and treatment plans.


  • Advise on user interfaces for nurses, CHWs, and doctors using the system.


  • Help design guardrails, escalation pathways, and human-in-the-loop oversight.


  • Ensure clinical quality assurance while providing the insights and during the entire cycle of AI products development.



  • Responsible AI, Governance & Compliance


  • Embed principles of safety, fairness, transparency, and accountability into model design.


  • Define clinical risk categories and appropriate levels of automation.


  • Identify risks, edge cases, and limitations of AI-based clinical tools.


  • Contribute to bias assessments across gender, age, language, and socioeconomic groups.


  • Support creation of explainable standards so users understand why the AI suggests an action.


  • Participate in incident reviews and post-deployment monitoring for harm prevention.


  • Ensure that AI-driven clinical tools adhere to medical guidelines, regulatory standards, and ethical frameworks.




Requirements

Qualifications: MBBS/ MD/ DNB or equivalent degree in clinical medicine.

Experience:
  • 5+ years of clinical experience after MBBS or 3+ years of clinical experience after MD/DNB across primary, secondary, or tertiary care.


  • Minimum 1 year experience in working with AI, LLMs, and emerging healthcare technologies.


  • Deep understanding of clinical workflows, diagnostics, and treatment planning.


  • Familiarity with digital health tools, EMR systems, or clinical decision support systems.



Skills:
  • Working in multidisciplinary R&D teams.


  • Exposure to prompt engineering, health informatics frameworks is a plus.


  • Strong understanding of SNOMED CT and ICD-10/11 medical terminologies.


  • Ability to communicate medical reasoning to technical teams.


  • Comfort with digital tools and interest in AI-driven healthcare
