AI & ML Automation Consultant (Project-Based)

Overview

We seek an experienced AI and Machine Learning Automation Consultant to evaluate, design, and implement automation across our business operations. The objective is to identify processes that can be automated. Design practical AI-driven solutions. Implement systems that improve speed, reduce manual work, and increase operational efficiency.

This is a project-based engagement. The consultant will work independently, assess current workflows, recommend solutions, and execute automation within a defined and short timeframe.

You will act as both strategist and implementer. You will diagnose operational inefficiencies, propose AI-enabled solutions, and lead the execution of those solutions.

The role requires strong technical depth and proven business process automation experience.

Key Objectives

You will focus on measurable operational improvements.

Primary objectives include:

• Audit current business processes and identify automation opportunities
• Design AI-driven workflows to eliminate repetitive manual tasks
• Implement automation tools and AI systems across departments
• Integrate AI solutions with existing platforms and infrastructure
• Improve internal communication and workflow efficiency
• Reduce operational cost through automation
• Deliver results within a short and defined project timeline

Scope of Work

The consultant will review current operations and propose an actionable automation roadmap.

Areas may include:

• Sales process automation
• Customer communication automation
• Internal communication workflows
• Data processing and reporting automation
• Customer support automation
• Marketing automation using AI tools
• Inventory and operational workflow automation
• Integration of AI agents and automation systems with existing tools

You will also develop documentation and internal guidelines so the team can operate the systems after deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a full operational assessment of current business workflows
• Identify processes suitable for AI or ML based automation
• Present a clear automation roadmap with timelines and deliverables
• Recommend appropriate AI platforms, models, and tools
• Design and deploy AI agents and automated workflows
• Integrate AI solutions with internal tools such as CRM, communication platforms, e-commerce platforms, and operational systems
• Implement automation using APIs, integrations, and workflow tools
• Ensure solutions are reliable, scalable, and secure
• Provide technical documentation and operational handover to the team

Required Qualifications

• Strong background in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
• Proven experience implementing AI automation in business environments
• Demonstrated experience in process automation and workflow optimization
• Experience integrating AI tools with business platforms and APIs
• Strong understanding of business operations and process analysis
• Experience with automation frameworks and AI-driven tools
• Ability to independently plan and execute automation projects
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Clear communication and ability to translate technical solutions into business outcomes

Preferred Technical Experience

Experience in several of the following areas is expected:

• AI workflow automation platforms

• Machine learning applications in operations
• API integrations and system orchestration
• Data processing and automation pipelines
• CRM, ecommerce, and communication platform integrations
• Process mapping and operational optimization
