AI Product Owner

Systems Limited is looking for an AI Product Owner responsible for defining, prioritizing, and delivering AI-driven products that align with business objectives and enterprise AI strategy. The role bridges business stakeholders, data science, and engineering teams to ensure AI solutions deliver measurable value while adhering to governance, compliance, and ethical standards.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the vision, strategy, and roadmap for AI products aligned with organizational goals.
• Translate business needs into clear AI product requirements and prioritize features based on business value and feasibility.
• Monitor market trends, customer insights, and emerging AI technologies to inform continuous product innovation.
• Own and manage the AI product backlog, ensuring clarity, prioritization, and sprint alignment.
• Collaborate with engineering and data science teams to deliver high-quality AI solutions on time.
• Define acceptance criteria and validate deliverables against business and technical objectives.
• Serve as the key liaison between business stakeholders, data science, and engineering teams.
• Communicate product vision, progress, and outcomes to leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Conduct workshops, demos, and feedback sessions to ensure alignment and adoption.
• Ensure all AI products comply with governance frameworks, ethical AI principles, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with Governance, Risk, and Security teams to embed fairness, transparency, and explainability controls.
• Define KPIs and success metrics for AI products and monitor adoption and performance.
• Drive continuous improvement through user feedback, analytics, and post-launch insights.
• Maintain full ownership of product backlog prioritization and feature definition.
• Approve product releases within agreed scope and compliance boundaries.
• Deliver AI products that meet business goals, governance standards, and user expectations.
• Ensure stakeholder alignment, value realization, and ongoing improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field (MBA preferred).
• 8+ years of experience in product management, with at least 3 years in AI/ML or data-driven products.
• Experience in management consulting focused on strategy, operating models, or transformation programs, or startup experience in AI/emerging technologies.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts, model lifecycle management, and data platforms.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and backlog management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
• Familiarity with AI governance, compliance, and ethical AI practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value.
• Strong problem-solving, prioritization, and decision-making abilities.
