Key Accountabilities
- AI Strategy & Roadmap: Set the vision and roadmap for generative AI use-cases and platform capabilities, aligning them with product and business objectives
- Innovation & Solution Design: Lead ideation, prototyping, and scaling of AI-driven features to push innovation boundaries
- Team Leadership: Oversee software development teams (Scrum Teams), managing day-to-day activities and ensuring on-time delivery of high-quality AI-enabled products.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with Product Management, UIUX, Business Stakeholders such as Regulatory Function etc. to ensure AI features meet customer needs and compliance.
- Performance & Quality: Monitor engineering and operational metrics, driving continuous improvement in delivery efficiency and performance
- Governance & Ethics: Ensure AI solutions comply with company policies and industry regulations, promoting ethical use of data and model
- AI Domain Expertise: Promote AI within the organization by conducting trainings, brown-bag sessions. represent the organization in AI events & governance of AI tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s in computer science, Software Engineering or related field
Experience
- 10+; years in software development in large enterprise organization with 5+ years in leading engineering teams in Telecommunication sector.
- Proven track record in delivering AI and software products.
Skills
- Strong grasp of AI/ML concepts (especially LLM) and full-stack software development (cloud platforms, APIs, mobile apps). Able to articulate core concepts in relation to LLM such as Context Engineering, Prompt Engineering, Guardrails, Tool use and MCP.
- Experience with Agile Methodologies, CI/CD and modern DevOps tools.
- Skilled at translating business strategy into technical roadmaps, ability to evaluate merging AI technologies and incorporate them into products.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to influence stakeholders and report to senior management. Ability to explain complex AI ideas to non-technical audiences
