Role Overview

The AI & Robotics Lab Teacher / Trainer will be responsible for teaching Coding, Robotics, and basic Artificial Intelligence concepts to school students through practical, hands-on learning. The role involves conducting lab sessions, guiding projects, and managing lab resources within the school.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct AI, Coding, and Robotics lab sessions for school students
• Teach age-appropriate concepts, including:
• Coding basics (Scratch, Blockly, basic Python)
• Robotics fundamentals (sensors, motors, controllers)
• Introductory AI concepts (logic, patterns, real-life applications)
• Guide students in hands-on activities, experiments, and projects
• Manage and maintain robotics kits, AI tools, and lab equipment
• Follow structured lesson plans and adapt teaching as per student levels
• Encourage creativity, logical thinking, teamwork, and curiosity
• Assess student learning through practical tasks and observations
• Maintain lab discipline, safety, and equipment records
• Coordinate with school management and academic staff

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Electronics, or Education with STEM exposure
• 1–3 years of experience as a Robotics Trainer, Coding Teacher, or STEM/AI Instructor
• Hands-on experience with Scratch, Blockly, and basic Python
• Familiarity with robotics platforms such as Arduino, micro: bit, LEGO, or similar
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage school students
• Passion for teaching and technology education

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Prior experience teaching in a school environment
• B.Ed or teaching certification (preferred, not mandatory)
• Familiarity with CBSE/State Board curriculum and NEP 2020
• Ability to simplify technical concepts for young learners
• Patient, energetic, and classroom-ready personality
