AI Software Engineer – Automation & Client Delivery – Bahrain

Join a fast-moving AI and automation consultancy where engineering drives the entire business. As an AI Software Engineer, you will build internal products that automate core operations, then work directly with clients to design and deploy high-impact AI solutions across the region.

The Role:

This is a hands-on, full-stack engineering position with a strong client-facing element. You will own the delivery of automation tools that enable the company to operate with minimal support roles, then embed yourself into client environments to ship tailored AI solutions end to end. If you want a role where you build, iterate, and see your work go live within weeks in real customer environments, this is exactly that.

We are open to strong early-career engineers with real projects to show, as well as more experienced profiles who are comfortable mentoring others.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Designing and launching internal tools and SaaS products that automate key operations.

• Building full-stack software from scratch using JavaScript and TypeScript.

• Turning internal pain points into scalable products with commercial potential.

• Leading client delivery projects, from requirements with senior stakeholders to implementation and support.

• Deploying custom AI and automation solutions for clients across the GCC.

• Improving engineering processes to shorten release cycles and raise delivery quality.

• Staying close to emerging technologies and embedding best practices into the team.

• Helping to mentor newer engineers and push a high bar for automation and delivery excellence.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

• Full-stack engineering background with the ability to ship clean, user-friendly software.

• Strong ownership mindset, high initiative, and comfort working in an early-stage environment.

• Ability to understand business problems and convert them into simple, effective technical solutions.

• Good UI and UX sense. You can design and build interfaces without relying on others.

• Genuine interest in AI and automation, ideally with side projects or hands-on experimentation.

• Comfortable working primarily on site in Bahrain and meeting clients face to face.

• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, React, React Native, and NodeJS, or the ability to pick them up quickly.

• Bahraini nationals are strongly preferred, but strong non-Bahraini candidates may also be considered.
