AI Software Engineer

About The Role

We are seeking an experienced AI Software Engineer to lead the development of intelligent software solutions across our industrial applications. This role bridges modern AI technologies (LLMs, predictive analytics, edge AI) with scalable software engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Development Managers to identify AI/ML opportunities
• Conduct feasibility studies for AI-enhanced system upgrades
• Design scalable, microservices-based software architectures
• Architect AI inference systems optimized for cloud deployment
• Design and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines
• Develop predictive maintenance models using sensor data
• Implement real-time anomaly detection solutions
• Contribute to digital twin and energy optimization initiatives
• Write secure, clean, and production-grade code
• Review code with focus on AI safety, performance, and scalability
• Manage project timelines and deliverables
• Document AI model behavior, limitations, and system architecture
• Train staff on AI-assisted workflows and system usage
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or related field
• 3-7 years of professional software development experience
• Strong expertise in Object-Oriented Design, Microservices architecture, and scalable system design
• Advanced programming skills in Python (preferred) plus one of: Node.js, Java, or C#
• Hands-on experience integrating AI/ML models into production systems
• Experience working with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic) and prompt engineering
• Experience designing and implementing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines
• Familiarity with AI frameworks such as LangChain, Semantic Kernel, TensorFlow, or PyTorch
• Experience with SQL (SQL Server or PostgreSQL) and vector databases (ChromaDB, Pinecone, or pgvector)
• Cloud deployment experience (Azure AI Studio, Azure Cognitive Services, or AWS Bedrock)
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Agile methodologies
• Experience conducting code reviews and mentoring developers
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
