AI Systems Engineer/Developer (Claude-First)

We’re looking for a fast, AI-native AI Systems Engineer / Developer who builds with AI at the core and ships fast.

If you think in systems, build with AI at the core (Claude, ChatGPT), and care about speed, output, and real-world impact, this role is for you.

What You’ll Do

• Design and develop scalable, high-performance backend systems and microservices architectures.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints for seamless integrations.
• Turn ideas into working systems quickly, from concept to production.
• Integrate LLMs (Claude, OpenAI) and AI/ML-powered features into real-world applications.
• Build AI-driven workflows, agents, and automations to replace manual processes.
• Design and optimize database structures (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis) and system performance.
• Implement caching strategies (Redis, Memcached) and ensure scalability and reliability.
• Integrate third-party services and platforms using modern API standards.
• Work with cloud infrastructure, containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues with a focus on uptime and performance.
• Implement security best practices (OAuth 2.0, JWT, encryption, OWASP standards).
• Continuously ship, test, and improve systems in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams while contributing to technical decisions and architecture.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and apply them to improve speed and system capability.

What You Bring

• Hands-on experience using AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, etc.) in real development workflows
• Use AI (Claude, ChatGPT, etc.) as your primary development interface
• Can take an idea from concept working system quickly
• Think in automation, agents, and scalable architecture
• Care about output and speed, not process
• Operate with speed as a standard, delivering prototypes in hours, features in days, and systems in weeks, not weeks for features or months for systems.

AI-First Requirement (Non-Negotiable)

You must already:

• use Claude Code daily for coding, debugging, and system design
• rely on AI to accelerate development and decision-making

If AI is not central to your workflow, this role is not a fit for you.
