The AI Transformation Manager is responsible for leading the end-to-end delivery of strategic technology programmes across HITEK and the wider Farnek Group. Reporting to the Managing Director – HITEK, the role owns programme delivery from initiation through to operational handover, with full accountability for technical execution, integration architecture, governance compliance, user adoption, and benefits realisation.
The immediate priority is the Group AI Transformation Programme, followed by additional digitalisation initiatives, system rollouts, and enterprise integration programmes aligned with HITEK and Farnek's strategic roadmap.
The role operates and manages a hybrid AI architecture (Anthropic Claude API integrated with HITEK-hosted intelligence layers), ensuring seamless integration with enterprise systems including Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Infinigent, CAFMTEK, FLEETEK, SafeTEK, eProcurement, and Time Attendance platforms—without disruption to business operations.
This is a highly cross-functional leadership role requiring strong programme governance, deep technical expertise across AI and enterprise systems, and the ability to translate complex technical solutions into measurable business outcomes, while ensuring UAE data sovereignty and compliance.
- Lead end-to-end delivery of strategic technology programmes using PMP/Prince2 methodologies
- Own programme plans including schedules, resource allocation, RAID logs, and benefits tracking
- Provide weekly reporting to MD HITEK and periodic updates to Steering Committees
- Own Phase 1 (Foundation) delivery across 7 workstreams within defined timelines
- Maintain accountability through Phase 2 (FM Value Chain) and Phase 3 (Productivity alignment)
- Ensure delivery across BD, HR, Procurement, Logistics, Finance, and Operations
- Operate hybrid AI architecture combining LLM APIs with HITEK-hosted platforms
- Lead integrations across:
- SaaS platforms (Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Infinigent) via REST APIs
- Internal systems (CAFMTEK, SafeTEK, FLEETEK, etc.) via secure network connections
- Implement SSO, RBAC, audit logging, and cost monitoring
- Develop and maintain enterprise knowledge repositories (HRMS data, org structures, JDs, technical documentation)
- Establish and enforce Knowledge Maintenance Protocols with business owners
- Ensure periodic and event-driven updates
- Implement Human-in-the-Loop governance frameworks
- Define escalation thresholds aligned with business risk levels
- Ensure UAE data sovereignty and full audit compliance
- Conduct data audits and readiness assessments before programme initiation
- Validate ROI assumptions using authoritative data sources
- Present insights and recommendations to Steering Committees
- Lead structured training programmes across all levels:
- Foundation certification (mandatory)
- Department workflow sessions
- Advanced user enablement
- Monitor adoption metrics and drive corrective actions
- Manage internal technical teams (Developers, SysAdmins, Data Analysts)
- Coordinate with external vendors for integration, data harmonisation, and platform support
- Ensure optimal utilisation of resources across programmes
- Identify and define future technology initiatives
- Build scalable delivery frameworks, governance models, and reusable templates
- Strengthen HITEK's internal capability for enterprise programme delivery
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
- Master's degree (MBA / Engineering Management / Computer Science) preferred
- PMP or Prince2 certification strongly preferred
- Minimum 8 years in IT/technology delivery roles
- At least 3 years leading enterprise-scale programmes end-to-end
- Proven delivery of at least two strategic technology programmes, including:
- One AI/LLM deployment in production (e.g., Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock)
- Experience integrating enterprise SaaS platforms (Salesforce, Dynamics 365, HRMS)
- Hands-on exposure to Linux, Docker, PostgreSQL environments
- Experience managing cross-functional and distributed teams
- Industry experience in Facilities Management, Construction, or service operations preferred
- UAE experience and regulatory familiarity preferred
- Fluent in English (Arabic is an advantage)
