AI/ML Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION :

About the Role :

We’re looking for an AI/ML developer to help turn unstructured documents and images into clean, structured data and CAD-ready outputs. Typical work includes extracting key fields from land-survey documents into JSON and converting building footprints and lots/parcels into DXF files. We care more about relevant experience and portfolio work than specific tools.

What You’ll Do

• Train, evaluate, and deploy ML models for computer vision/OCR.
• Build simple, reliable pipelines for data ingestion, preprocessing, inference, and validation.
• Extract structured information from PDFs/scans and return it in clear JSON formats.
• Detect buildings and lot boundaries from plans or imagery and export clean DXF with sensible layers/attributes.
• Collaborate with domain experts to understand requirements and handle edge cases.
• Write clear, maintainable code and basic tests; document your work.

What We’re Looking For (Must-Have)

• Hands-on experience training ML/CV models or equivalent project/portfolio work.
• Solid Python skills and familiarity with at least one deep-learning framework.
• Comfort with image processing, OCR, and working with PDFs/scans.
• Good engineering basics: version control, clean code, simple testing, clear communication.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to geospatial/CAD concepts and DXF exports.
• Experience with table/form extraction from documents.
• Basic cloud/MLOps or API deployment experience.
• Familiarity with vector data and coordinate systems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹519,920.93 - ₹1,100,000.00 per year
