AI/ML Engineer – Fresher

Meg World Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a highly motivated AI/ML Engineer – Fresher who has the technical ability, curiosity, and problem-solving mindset of an experienced developer.

This is not a training-only position. The selected candidate will be expected to learn quickly, research independently, build working solutions, and take ownership of AI/ML projects.

The candidate will work on Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Generative AI, LLMs, AI APIs, automation, data processing, computer vision, NLP, predictive systems, and AI-powered business applications.

The ideal candidate may be a fresher, but should demonstrate the ability to build real projects independently and figure out unfamiliar technologies when required.

Key Responsibilities

1. AI/ML Application Development

• Develop AI and machine learning solutions for real-world business requirements.
• Build AI-powered web and software applications.
• Integrate AI functionality into existing company products.
• Develop prototypes and convert successful prototypes into production applications.
• Research and implement appropriate AI/ML approaches for new requirements.

2. Generative AI & LLM Development

Work with technologies such as:

• OpenAI APIs
• Gemini APIs
• Claude APIs
• Open-source LLMs
• Hugging Face
• LangChain / LlamaIndex
• RAG systems
• Vector databases
• Embeddings
• AI agents
• Prompt engineering
• Function/tool calling

Responsibilities may include:

• Building AI chatbots.
• Developing AI assistants.
• Creating RAG-based applications.
• Connecting LLMs to company databases and applications.
• Building AI agents and automation workflows.
• Developing document/question-answering systems.
• Creating AI-powered business tools.
• Evaluating and improving AI responses.

3. Machine Learning

Work with:

• Supervised learning

The candidate should be able to select appropriate ML approaches based on the problem rather than simply following tutorials.

4. Python Development

Strong working knowledge of Python is expected.

The candidate should be capable of writing production-oriented Python code, not just notebook-based experiments.

5. Data Processing

• Build data processing pipelines.
• Analyze model results and identify improvements.

6. NLP

Work on applications involving:

7. Computer Vision

Where required, work with:

• Image classification

Experience with OpenCV, YOLO, PyTorch, TensorFlow or similar technologies is an advantage.

8. AI API & Software Integration

Integrate AI capabilities into:

• Websites

• CRM/ERP systems
• Internal company tools
• SaaS products

Build APIs using technologies such as:

• FastAPI
• Flask
• Node.js
• REST APIs

9. AI Agents & Automation

Research and build intelligent automation systems capable of:

• Calling external APIs.
• Processing documents.
• Retrieving information.
• Executing predefined actions.
• Connecting multiple software systems.
• Automating repetitive business workflows.
• Using tools/function calling where appropriate.

10. Model Deployment

Learn and implement:

• Model serving
• API deployment

Exposure to AWS, Azure, Google Cloud or equivalent platforms is an advantage.

11. Research & Problem Solving

This is a critical part of the role.

The candidate should be able to:

• Research unfamiliar technologies independently.

• Study GitHub repositories and implementation examples.
• Understand new AI models and frameworks.
• Experiment with multiple approaches.
• Identify why a solution is failing.
• Find and implement a practical solution.

The candidate should be a self-learner.

Full-Stack AI Development

The candidate may also be required to connect AI systems with web applications.

Important: Practical Ability Over Qualification

We are specifically looking for candidates who can build things, not candidates who only know AI/ML theory.

A candidate who can independently build a working AI application will be strongly preferred over a candidate with excellent academic marks but limited practical experience.
