AI/ML Software Engineer

Position Overview

We are looking for a passionate AI/ML Software Engineer to join our technology and innovation team in Cairo, Egypt. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying cutting-edge solutions that leverage modern programming languages, frameworks, and emerging AI/ML technologies. Working on both front-end and back-end development, you'll collaborate with partners and customers to deliver high-quality, cost-effective solutions while driving innovation in Large Language Models, Natural Language Processing, Deep Learning, and Machine Learning—from concept to deployment.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy web applications and services using modern programming languages, frameworks, and tools for both front-end and back-end development.
• Develop products and prototypes in one or more of the following areas: Large Language Models (LLMs), Natural Language Processing (NLP), Deep Learning (DL), and Machine Learning (ML).
• Collaborate with partners and customers to deliver high-quality, cost-effective solutions.
• Drive the software development lifecycle by owning assigned features from concept to deployment, including design, code reviews, acceptance testing, and release.
• Produce innovative, high-quality software solutions for development teams and customers.
• Adhere to Siemens processes, quality standards, and engineering guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in developing web applications across diverse industries.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Python, Java, and/or JavaScript. Experience with UI frameworks such as ReactJS and Angular is a plus.
• Strong understanding of data structures, data modeling, software architecture, and software design principles.
• Hands-on experience in web, cloud, and mobile application development for AI- and ML-based solutions.
• Hands-on experience designing and developing software applications for web, cloud, and IoT platforms, such as AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, or IBM Bluemix.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., Keras or PyTorch) and libraries (e.g., scikit-learn) is a plus.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes, is a plus.
• Passion for writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Compensation & Benefits

The salary range for this position is $23, 900 to $47,800 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate's job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
