Job Title: Air Exports Customer Service and AWB Documentation

We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team in the role of Air Exports Customer Service / Documentation.

Job Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

· Act as the primary point of contact for air export customers, addressing inquiries and providing timely information regarding shipments.

· Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.

· Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and execution of customer requests.

AWB Documentation:

· Prepare and process Air Waybills (AWBs) and related documentation for air export shipments.

· Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies for air freight documentation.

· Verify the accuracy of shipment details, including weights, dimensions, and descriptions, ensuring they match with the AWB and other relevant documents.

Coordination and Logistics:

· Collaborate with airlines, ground handlers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth air export operations.

· Monitor the status of shipments and provide updates to customers regarding their cargo.

· Assist in resolving any issues or discrepancies that may arise during the shipment process.

Administrative Support:

· Maintain accurate records of all documentation and correspondence related to air export shipments.

· Generate reports on shipment status, customer inquiries, and other relevant metrics as required.

· Assist in the billing process for air export shipments, ensuring timely invoicing and payment collection.

Continuous Improvement:

· Identify opportunities for process improvements in customer service and documentation practices.

· Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to air freight and logistics.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree.

· Minimum 2-5 years of experience in air exports, freight forwarding, customer service.

· Strong understanding of air freight processes and documentation, including AWBs.

· Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiar with logistics software.

· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-centric approach.

· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
