Air Export Operations Coordinator Chinese/English

Position Overview

Golden Arcus International is seeking an experienced Air Export / Ocean Export Operations Coordinator to join our growing logistics team.

This role is primarily focused on international air export operations, with additional involvement in ocean export shipments as business needs require. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience coordinating export shipments and managing the operational process from booking through departure.

You will work closely with customers, airlines, ocean carriers, overseas agents, trucking companies, and warehouses to ensure smooth and timely shipment execution. Candidates with strong air export experience will be given priority consideration.

Key ResponsibilitiesAir Export Operations (Primary Responsibility)

  • Coordinate international air export shipments from booking through flight departure
  • Arrange airline bookings and monitor flight schedules
  • Prepare, review, and process export documentation, including MAWB, HAWB, commercial invoices, packing lists, and other shipping documents
  • Coordinate cargo pickups, warehouse handling, airline acceptance, and cut-off requirements
  • Communicate with customers, airlines, trucking companies, and overseas agents to ensure timely shipment execution
  • Track shipment milestones and provide proactive status updates

Ocean Export Operations

  • Coordinate ocean export bookings and vessel schedules
  • Work with ocean carriers, drayage providers, warehouses, and overseas agents
  • Prepare and review ocean export documentation
  • Monitor cargo movement through departure and destination handoff
  • Ensure compliance with customer requirements and shipping schedules

Customer & Shipment Coordination

  • Communicate directly with customers regarding shipment requirements and service updates
  • Develop practical transportation solutions based on customer needs and operational requirements
  • Monitor shipments from origin through departure and provide timely communication
  • Maintain high levels of customer service and operational accuracy

Exception Management

  • Identify and follow up on shipment delays, documentation discrepancies, and operational exceptions
  • Coordinate corrective actions with internal teams and external partners
  • Resolve operational issues in a timely and professional manner

Billing & Cost Support

  • Review shipment-related Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) charges
  • Verify billing accuracy against operational records
  • Assist with cost control and profitability management

QualificationsRequired

  • Minimum 1 year of freight forwarding, international logistics, or related operations experience
  • Minimum 1 year of hands-on air export operations experience
  • Knowledge of air export documentation and shipment processes
  • Experience coordinating with airlines, trucking companies, warehouses, customers, and overseas agents
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Preferred

  • Experience with both air export and ocean export operations
  • Knowledge of AES filing requirements and export compliance procedures
  • Experience using freight forwarding software systems
  • Bilingual English and Chinese preferred
  • Bilingual English and Spanish is a plus

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation: $21.00 – $30.00 per hour (DOE)
