Air Freight Import Manager

We are looking for an experienced Air Freight Import Manager who will lead our air freight import operations end-to-end, while driving business growth through strong collaboration with the DP World network and overseas agents. This role will play a key part in developing air freight consolidation solutions, managing supplier relationships, and contributing to revenue growth by actively supporting sales and commercial activities. The ideal candidate will combine strong operational expertise with a commercial mindset to ensure both service excellence and profitability.

Your Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage end-to-end air freight import operations, ensuring high service quality and operational efficiency,
• Develop and strengthen business relationships within the DP World network and with overseas agents,
• Create and implement air freight consolidation solutions (including consol shipments and MAWB/HAWB structures) to optimize cost and efficiency,
• Take ownership of pricing, purchasing, and supplier negotiations to deliver competitive and sustainable solutions,
• Collaborate closely with the sales team, contributing to business development and actively supporting field sales activities,
• Monitor operational and financial performance, identifying opportunities to improve profitability and customer satisfaction,
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within operations to enhance process efficiency and service delivery,

Your Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, preferably in Logistics, International Trade, Business Administration, or a related discipline,
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in air freight import operations, with a strong understanding of end-to-end processes, documentation, and freight forwarding dynamics,
• Solid knowledge of IATA regulations, airline operations, and international air freight procedures,
• Strong command of English, both written and spoken, with the ability to effectively communicate with international stakeholders and overseas agents,
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to analyze data, generate reports, and support both operational and commercial decision-making processes,
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams,
• A proactive, solution-oriented professional with strong problem-solving capabilities, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment,
• Commercial awareness with the ability to contribute to pricing strategies, supplier negotiations, and overall business growth,
