Aircraft Appearance Specialist

We are seeking a candidate for our aircraft and vehicle appearance operations in the Salt Lake City & Provo areas. Working hours are typically between 11:00 - 22:00. This position will also be required to work overnight airline cabin cleaning as needed between the hours of 22:00 - 06:00. We'd like to hire someone with a flexible schedule. Candidates must have reliable transportation to get to and from work and are preferred to have some flexibility in scheduling when it comes to the end time of their shifts based on operational needs. The ideal candidate will be dependable, have a high attention to detail, be self-motivated, have some flexibility in schedule for irregular operations, and demonstrate a safe, responsible, and professional attitude, appearance, and work ethic. Candidates must be able to pass a 10 year background check which is required for airport badging. While most aircraft appearance services are conducted during the day and evening (before midnight), the aviation industry is a 24/7 operation and employees may be required to work evenings, nights, some holidays, and weekends based on operational needs. Flexibility to work between Salt Lake and Utah Counties is a must, as our operational needs require we service several airports between Logan and Nephi. Candidates are expected to provide their own transportation between the SLC and PVU airports. This is a great job for students working on aviation college degrees, or student pilots working on certificates and ratings. Aviation experience is a plus, but is not required. We will provide you with on the job training and experience. We work in hot and cold, rain and shine, environments.

Basic duties include, but may not be limited to:
-Interior and exterior detail cleaning.
-Metal polishing.
-Paint restoration and/or polishing.
-Carpet extraction and cleaning.
-Safe and efficient operation of equipment such as buffers, ladders, and lifts as necessary.
-Exercise safe and cautious movements in and around aircraft at all times.
-Must be comfortable with heights and being on ladders and lifts as required.
-Must be able to use good judgement in making decisions.
-Must be able to prioritize projects efficiently to meet deadlines.
-Must have some flexibility in schedule.
-Must be able to work indoors and out doors in hot or cold temperatures based on operational needs.
-Must be at least 18 years of age.
-Must have a valid Drivers License.
-Must be able to pass Drug Testing & Background Checks
-Must be able to obtain Airport Badging
