AIRCRAFT MECHANIC

Position Description

You will serve as an AIRCRAFT MECHANIC in the FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHEAST, INDUSTRIAL EXECUTION DEPT (6.2), PRODUCTION TRADES DIV (6.2.1) of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

• You will Install, adjust, align, troubleshoot and perform final functional and operational tests on a variety of major aircraft systems, their assemblies, components, and prototypes.
• You will disassemble components/systems and determine the required repairs, reassembles, and reinstalls on aircraft.
• You will Install, align, and adjust complete new systems.
• You will connect related systems, such as hydraulic/pneudraulic and cable systems to newly installed or repaired units.
• You will provide guidance to other employees.
• You will use a wide variety of precision measuring instruments.
• You will accomplish other duties as assigned.
