Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Cabinet Builder to join our aircraft interiors team. This role is responsible for fabricating, assembling, and finishing high-quality cabinetry and interior components for aircraft completions.

The ideal candidate has strong woodworking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work from engineering drawings in a fast-paced, precision-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fabricate and assemble aircraft cabinetry, monuments, and interior components
  • Interpret and work from engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions
  • Cut, shape, and bond materials including laminates, veneers, composites, and substrates
  • Perform detailed fitting, trimming, and assembly to tight tolerances
  • Install hardware such as hinges, latches, and brackets
  • Apply finishes including laminates, edge banding, and surface treatments
  • Ensure all work meets quality standards and regulatory requirements
  • Inspect completed work for accuracy, fit, and finish
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Upholstery, and Installation teams
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with shop standards

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of cabinet building, woodworking, or related experience
  • Experience with hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in aircraft interiors, marine, or high-end custom cabinetry
  • Familiarity with aerospace materials and processes
  • Experience working with composites and lightweight structures
  • Understanding of FAA-related quality standards (a plus)

Pay: $24.52 - $35.00 per hour
