Overview
Join our dynamic team as an Aircraft Interior Refurbishment Shop Manager. Participate in the daily operations of small airplane interior refinishing while maintaining the work spaces and supply areas in our facility at the Norfolk International Airport. Working hours are from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, 50 weeks per year.

Duties

• Lead and manage daily operations of the aircraft interior refurbishment shop, including production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet project deadlines.
• Implement lean manufacturing principles and process improvements to optimize workflow, reduce waste, and enhance quality control across all refurbishment activities.
• Foster a culture of teamwork, safety awareness, innovation, and accountability within the shop environment.
• Qualifications
• Demonstrated ability to lead process improvements and implement continuous improvement initiatives effectively.
• Mechanical knowledge related to aircraft interiors or similar complex assemblies; familiarity with aerospace standards is a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong leadership qualities
• Experience in plant management or operations management roles is a plus.
