Aircraft Maintenance Technician

Aero Maintenance Services is seeking a motivated FAA-certified Airframe & Powerplant Technician to join in on our expansion in Sarasota, Florida. Aero Maintenance is a well-established facility supporting a diverse fleet of turbine and piston aircraft.

Pay is based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance procedures
• Conduct inspections in accordance with FAA regulations and manufacturer requirements
• Troubleshoot aircraft systems and diagnose maintenance discrepancies
• Complete repairs, alterations, and preventive maintenance
• Accurately document maintenance activities and return-to-service entries
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
• Work closely with fellow technicians, and inspectors

Qualifications

• FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate required
• Experience maintaining fixed-wing aircraft preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Familiarity with aviation maintenance manuals and documentation
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to safety and quality
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening
