Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified and motivated Aircraft Technician to join our team in Umm Al Quwain. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance, inspections, and repairs on Light Sports Aircraft (LSA). The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience, strong technical knowledge, and a commitment to maintaining the highest safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on Light Sports Aircraft (fixed-wing and gyro).
• Conduct inspections in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain detailed and accurate maintenance records and logbooks.
• Read and interpret Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (AMM), service bulletins, and technical drawings.
• Ensure proper use of tools, equipment, and safety procedures.
• Support team members and collaborate effectively to meet operational goals.
• Stay updated with latest maintenance procedures and industry best practices.

Requirements:

• Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License (AMEL) – possession of any EASA modules (any number) is an advantage.
• Proven experience working with Light Sports Aircraft (fixed-wing and gyro).
• Previous On-Job Training (OJT) experience on LSAs preferred.
• Strong understanding of aircraft maintenance manuals, procedures, and safety standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly MS Excel.
• Good knowledge of aircraft tools and safety practices.
• Ability to maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
• Rotax Engine course certification is an advantage.
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and coordination skills.
• Eagerness to learn, adapt, and grow within a dynamic aviation environment.
