About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aircraft Technician – PC-21 to support maintenance operations on the Pilatus PC-21 Advanced Trainer Aircraft. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing, supervising, and certifying aircraft maintenance activities while ensuring compliance with airworthiness, safety, and quality standards.
The role requires extensive hands-on experience in aircraft inspection, troubleshooting, repair, servicing, and modification activities, as well as the ability to mentor junior technicians and support operational readiness. The PC-21 is an advanced turboprop military trainer aircraft utilized by several air forces worldwide for pilot training.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on PC-21 aircraft and associated systems.
- Conduct aircraft inspections, fault diagnosis, troubleshooting, repairs, and component replacement.
- Perform aircraft recovery, servicing, launch, and turnaround activities.
- Execute maintenance tasks in accordance with approved technical manuals, maintenance procedures, and airworthiness requirements.
- Carry out functional checks, operational tests, and ground runs following maintenance activities.
- Ensure accurate completion of maintenance documentation, work cards, and aircraft records.
- Monitor aircraft serviceability status and identify recurring defects and reliability issues.
- Support modification, retrofit, and service bulletin implementation programs.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, and Operations departments to ensure aircraft availability.
- Provide technical guidance and on-the-job training to junior technicians and apprentices.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality management system requirements.
- Assist during deployments, exercises, and off-site maintenance activities when required.
- Support investigations of technical incidents and provide recommendations for corrective actions. Scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, modifications, and technical support activities are key aspects of PC-21 maintenance operations.
- Required Qualifications
- Diploma or equivalent qualification in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Avionics, or related discipline.
- Recognized Aircraft Maintenance License (Military or Civil Aviation Authority equivalent) preferred.
- Type training and hands-on experience on Pilatus PC-21 aircraft highly desirable.
- Minimum 6-8 years of aircraft maintenance experience.
Pay: AED16,000.00 - AED20,000.00 per month
