Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and drive the customer focused technology strategy for MEA along with business unit leaders in the region and countries
- Lead and coordinate target initiatives and functionalities to implement step-changes to boost our sales and productivity by speedy and high-quality integration and ramp up core digital projects identified
- Manage external and internal senior stakeholders such as the management, business and engineering teams to ensure maximum alignment
- Develop roadmaps outlining workable paths against clearly defined success criteria and execute the project management journey in order to improve customer experience, user experience and cost
- Deep dive and understand the impact and value our systems provide our customers and users, and suggest prioritization to maximize impact vs. investment and optimize time to market
- Design and execute technology sales programs, generate sales leads and follow up with field sales in order to scale the technology impact in one of the fastest emerging regions globally
- Execute customer integrations from start to end including solution design, technology demonstrations, interface message preparation, testing, training and launch execution
- Conduct sanity checks on existing contractual business, including: Customer rate card accuracy, billing accuracy, Lead time versus DGF performance, Penalty clause compliance
- Review customer reporting requirements and identify opportunities to leverage myDHLi, API, and GSC tools for improved efficiency and visibility.
- Identify areas of process improvements, drive the improvement initiatives with Airfreight Operations to ensure compliance to all DHL policies
Knowledge, Skills&Experience
- Bachelor’s degree from relevant departments
- 7+ years’ experience in logistics (preferably forwarding) or implementation and deployment of large scale project
- Experience managing complex technology programs, projects or product management from planning through execution
- Large scale experience in designing and planning how technology systems communicate, governance of integration architecture and enforcing the rules and structures
- Experience of launching, integrating and change-managing operational technology
- Good understanding of forwarding / logistics operations in emerging markets is a plus
- Willingness to travel extensively within country
- Strong adaptive ability to work in a multi-cultural, diverse and inclusive environment
- Proficient English language skills
- 7+ years’ experience in logistics (preferably forwarding) or implementation and deployment of large scale project.
- Prior experience with Cargo Wise One - through certification (min CCO, target CCP) or on hand operational CW1 knowledge
