Airline Food & Equipment Dispatcher(ANC)

The Dispatchers monitor catering schedules to insure timely delivery of food & beverages to outbound aircraft, communicates by phone & radio with drivers & customers, formulates plan for shift & communicates with supervisors/drivers. Administrative tasks- complete dispatch sheet, correct aircraft numbers, flights, times, trucks, maintain call back log (later flights*), Perform additional duties as needed. Must be able to read, write, and speak English; needs to possess excellent verbal customer service and written communication skills, Must possess a Valid Driver’s License; be able to obtain an LAX AOA Driver Seal, Customs Seal. Work requires organization, prioritization skills.

Detail orientation, strong mathematical skills, and problem solving skills. Must be able to understand and follow customer specifications, must have intermediate computer skills, Tech savvy; knowledge of mobile devices; smartphones, 2-way radio, phone, tablets, internet based programs, must be able to interact with all levels of employees. Must be self-directed and be able to work with little supervision, must be able to work under pressure, must be able to lift 50 pounds and be able to perform duties in cooler location. Must be flexible to work any shift.

Must have a good performance and attendance record.
