Job description:

The Airline Sales Executive is responsible for supporting the airline’s sales efforts by developing business opportunities, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and contributing to sales targets. The role requires proactive customer engagement, market research, and assisting in the execution of sales and marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and key accounts.
  • Act as a point of contact for existing clients, handling inquiries and providing necessary information regarding fares, routes, and services.
  • Follow up on leads and sales opportunities to generate new business for the airline
  • Assist in the planning and execution of sales campaigns, promotions, and events to increase brand awareness and revenue.
  • Work with marketing teams to tailor offers, pricing, and packages that cater to local market demands.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of all customer interactions and sales activities in the airline’s CRM system.
  • Assist in preparing regular sales reports and tracking sales performance.
  • Participate in internal meetings to report progress, discuss challenges, and share customer insights
  • Provide insights and recommendations for improving sales strategies and enhancing customer experience.

Required Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality, Tourism, or a related field.
  • Ideally, 2-3 years of experience in sales, preferably within the travel, tourism, or airline industry (required).
  • Valid Driving License required.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
  • Ability to understand and respond to the needs of customers, with a focus on building long-term relationships.
  • Basic understanding of sales techniques and the ability to close deals effectively.
  • Ability to work well within a team environment and coordinate with multiple departments.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools used in sales management.
  • Knowledge of the Qatari market and its cultural context, with an understanding of local business practices and customer preferences.
