Job Role:

The Operations Agent is responsible for the station coordination function. This function involves the monitoring of flight turnaround operations to assure respect of ramp safety, security and operational procedures, while optimizing quality, company revenue and punctuality. This position also includes tasks related to data preparation for flight planning.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform the duties of “Flight Departure Function” as per company regulation

  • Transmit provisional payload data to flight dispatch in Europe
  • Prepare all elements of flight folder for Cockpit Crew
  • Follow-up on ATC Flight Plan transmission
  • Monitor and update flight load evolution
  • Brief Cockpit Crew on the flight and local particularities

2. Monitor & Support ground operations in back-office environment before arrival of the flights

  • Monitor aircraft arrivals and departures on ATC frequencies and computer systems
  • Transmit & Receive air-to-ground communications with cockpit crew
  • Perform liaison between ground operations activities and other departments including service providers
  • Update station departments, and suppliers on the evolution of aircraft movements, including slot monitoring
  • Interface with OCC as needed

3. Monitor and Coordinate Aircraft Handling

  • Apply regulations on dangerous goods handling and loading
  • Communicate provisional loading to Load Planning department
  • Perform briefings and de-briefings with Ramp teams
  • Ensure that aircraft is handled and loaded to in accordance with company procedures and regulations
  • Report final loading to Load Planning department
  • Monitor and correct the providers if needed, and report back to Management to feed Safety Management System.
  • Ensure a safe work environment

4. Coordinate and apply the Station Turnaround Plan

  • Monitor and Enforce company and local government Security rules,
  • Monitor and Enforce company and local safety rules of the ramp during all phases of the turnaround
  • Monitor and evaluate progress on the critical path of turnaround plan to reduce ground time during short turnarounds
  • Monitor suppliers to ensure conformity, and on time completion of tasks

5. Follows crew rotation and prepares related documents

  • Follow crew rotations to arrange for crew accommodation and transportation.
  • Prepare General Declarations for arrivals and departure
  • Update hotel and transportation providers on changes in aircraft schedules

Requirements:

Physical Requirements:

Role is performed primarily on the airport ramp/airside with frequent exposure to outdoor weather conditions and aircraft. Requires standing and walking for extended periods and moving safely around aircraft while using required PPE (e.g., hi‑vis, hearing protection, safety footwear). Involves occasional lifting/pushing/pulling of light to moderate loads (e.g., cones, chocks, documents, portable equipment). Requires clear radio and in‑person communication in a high‑noise environment and handling of flight documents in time‑critical situations. Work hours align to flight operations and include early mornings, nights, weekends, holidays, and schedule changes during irregular operations. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $24.03 per hour
