We are seeking a detail-oriented Akeneo PIM (Product Information Management) Data Analyst to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring product data integrity, consistency, and optimization within Akeneo PIM. You will collaborate closely with developers, eCommerce managers, and business stakeholders to support product enrichment, streamline data workflows, and enhance overall data quality for omnichannel publishing.

Data Management & Analysis
- Audit, cleanse, and normalize product data across multiple sources before importing into Akeneo.

Identify data gaps, inconsistencies, and duplication, providing solutions for resolution.

Develop and maintain product attribute structures, categories, and data hierarchies within Akeneo.
Akeneo PIM Administration
- Configure and manage Akeneo product families, attributes, associations, and workflows.

Import, export, and validate data via Akeneo Data Loader, API, or connector tools.

Support integrations with ERP, eCommerce platforms (Shopify, Adobe Commerce, BigCommerce, etc.), and third-party systems.
Data Enrichment & Optimization
- Work with marketing, merchandising, and technical teams to ensure accurate and enriched product content.

Optimize data for SEO, product discoverability, and compliance with industry standards.

Support localization/multi-language data enrichment where applicable.
Reporting & Quality Assurance
- Generate reports on product data completeness and accuracy.

Implement data governance rules and ensure adherence to data quality standards.

Provide ongoing recommendations for improving Akeneo usage and workflows.
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst, PIM Specialist, or Akeneo Administrator.

Hands-on experience with Akeneo PIM (Community or Enterprise Edition).

Strong understanding of product data structures: attributes, categories, variants, families, and assets.

Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets, CSV data management, and large dataset handling.

Familiarity with APIs, ETL processes, and system integrations (ERP, eCommerce platforms).

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with the ability to identify data issues and propose solutions.

Excellent communication skills to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience integrating Akeneo with Adobe Commerce (Magento).

Knowledge of data governance frameworks and SEO-friendly product data structuring.

Familiarity with multichannel catalog syndication tools (e.g., ChannelEngine, Feedonomics, Lengow).

Experience with multi-language and localization workflows in Akeneo.
- Contract Length: 6 months with possible extension
- Hours: Flexible, project-based workload (with some availability during business hours for meetings).
- Compensation: $45–$70/hr, depending on experience
- Reporting to: eCommerce Project Manager / Director of Development
