About Position:
We are seeking a highly skilled AI/ML Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Machine Learning, NLP, Document AI, and AWS-based ML deployments. The ideal candidate will work on building and optimizing AI solutions for document processing, claims workflows, healthcare datasets, OCR, entity extraction, and ML-driven automation. This role requires deep technical expertise in Python, deep learning frameworks, AWS ML services, and experience with large-scale healthcare or claims datasets.

What You'll Do:
- AI/ML & Document AI Development
- Build ML and NLP models for document classification, entity extraction, text summarization, OCR workflows, and structured/unstructured data processing.
- Apply deep learning and classical ML techniques to healthcare or claims datasets.
- Perform feature engineering across structured, semi-structured, and unstructured document data.
- Work with OCR technologies (open-source and AWS Textract) for high-volume document pipelines.
- AWS ML Engineering
- Deploy ML models and pipelines using AWS SageMaker (training, hosting endpoints, monitoring).
- Work with AWS services including Textract, Comprehend, Bedrock, and other AI/ML components.
- Build secure, scalable ML pipelines aligned with enterprise governance and operational standards.
- United AI Studio (UAIS)
- Work within UAIS pipelines, guardrails, and governance workflows for model deployment and lifecycle management.
- Ramp up quickly on UAIS-specific capabilities and integration patterns
- Data Engineering & Integration
- Work with large-scale claims or healthcare datasets, ensuring data quality and performance.
- Utilize strong SQL skills for data analysis, exploration, validation, and feature pipelines.
- Understand integration patterns involving APIs, microservices, event-driven architectures, and real-time workflows.
Expertise You'll Bring:
- Strong hands-on experience in Machine Learning, NLP, and Document AI.
- Expertise with:
- Python
- PyTorch / TensorFlow
- Classical ML + Deep Learning
- Experience with OCR, document classification, entity extraction, summarization.
- Proven experience deploying ML solutions on AWS, including:
- SageMaker
- Textract
- Comprehend
- Bedrock
- Experience with claims or healthcare datasets.
- Strong SQL and data analysis skills.
- Understanding of modern engineering principles: APIs, microservices, event-driven systems.
- Ability to work across large datasets with a focus on quality, security, and operational excellence.
- Experience in Claims, Healthcare, Insurance, Revenue Cycle domains.
- Experience building:
- TAT prediction models
- Workflow optimization models
- Risk scoring models
- Exposure to Agentic AI, RAG architectures, and SOP-driven automation.
- Familiarity with Responsible AI, model explainability, and regulatory compliance frameworks.
