Night Shift and Over Night Med Tech Available

Monday-Friday 3p-11p, 11p-7a and Weekends - PRN

Must be comfortable working with clients with a mental illness diagnosis(Schizophrenia, bipolar, depression, etc.

We are an 85 bed assisted living facility for Limited Mental Health clients.

Must be able to pass a AHCA level II background screening. NO PRIOR ARRESTS

Must be able to work independently and under stressful situations as they arise.

Must be CPR certified.

Key Responsibilities

• Medication Administration: Accurately pass prescribed medications, monitor for side effects, record administration, and notify supervisors/pharmacy for refills.
• Resident Care: Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, repositioning, and ensuring personal hygiene.
• Health Monitoring & Reporting: Observe and report changes in resident conditions, vital signs, and behaviors to nurses or supervisors.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed, accurate records in Electronic Health Records (EHR) and medication administration records (MAR).
• Safety & Security: Respond to resident concerns, manage emergencies, assist with building security, and ensure a safe environment.
• Support & Companionship: Provide emotional support, engage residents in activities, and offer general assistance.
• Shift Duties: Complete shift reports, restock supplies, perform laundry/shower checks, and prepare residents for bed.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED.
• State-specific Med Tech certification. CAN NOT BE DONE ONLINE
• Experience in a caregiving/assisted living setting.
• Strong observation, time management, and communication skills.
• Ability to follow protocols, use EHR, and work independently.

Typical Work Environment

• Assisted living facilities
• Overnight shifts (e.g., 10 PM - 6 AM, 11 PM - 7 AM).
• Demanding but potentially less stressful than hospital settings.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
