Position Overview:

We are looking for a reliable and motivated all-around barista to join our specialty coffee café in Madinat Zayed City, Western Region of Abu Dhabi. This role is primarily focused on coffee preparation, but you will also assist in preparing food such as sandwiches, cakes, and pasta, as well as support the dining area when needed.

Ideal for someone flexible, hands-on, and willing to grow in a small café environment. Newbies are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in a friendly, professional manner

• Provide information about menu items, specials, and promotions

• Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly

• Prepare coffee and beverages according to quality standards

• Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other café equipment

• Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and temperature

• Suggest add-ons and upsell menu items when appropriate

• Take food orders accurately and efficiently

• Prepare basic food items such as sandwiches, cakes, and pasta

• Assist in food plating and presentation

• Serve food and beverages to customers

• Process orders and handle payments (cash & card)

• Maintain cleanliness of the café (tables, counters, and equipment)

• Restock supplies and ingredients as needed

• Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times

• Assist in opening and closing duties

Requirements:

• Experience is a plus but not required (training will be provided)

• Good communication and customer service skills

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Basic math skills for handling payments

• Attention to detail and ability to multitask

• Flexible with shifts, including weekends and holidays

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From AED2,000.00 per month
