The Role:

We are seeking a high ambitious individuals to join our Restructuring team on all levels in Turkey. This is an exciting opportunity for candidates looking to build their expertise in Restructuring while working closely with (senior) colleagues and clients. You will support critical restructuring and turnaround initiatives across various industries, gaining hands-on experience in financial and operational challenges faced by companies.

You will work closely with senior team members and client stakeholders to analyze financial and operational challenges and help develop and implement solutions that create value. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in restructuring, turnaround, and transformation projects while learning from some of the best professionals in the field.


How you will contribute:

As part of a select and highly skilled team you will have the opportunity to:

  • Advise and implement alongside client’s executives, investors, lenders or any other stakeholders facing distressed situations

  • Conduct diagnostic assessment of key issues and business outlook, appraisal of options & contingency planning and liquidity forecasting

  • Develop and implement restructuring plans and integrated financial models as well as short term cash flow forecasting tools

  • Evaluate business plans and financial projections, including assessments of risks and opportunities - Contribute to performance monitoring following business plan implementation

  • Develop trusted relationships with key stakeholders

  • Contribute to business development activities including the creation of client pitches and proposals to win new mandates


Typical project areas include:

  • Financial and operational restructuring

  • Corporate turnaround and performance improvement

  • Balance sheet optimization and restructuring

  • Asset sales and carve-outs

  • Cash and liquidity management, including short-term forecasting

  • Cross-border wind-downs and operational closures

  • Development and validation of business plans with management teams

  • Independent business reviews (IBRs)

  • Stakeholder communication and reporting, including PMO-led cost-saving initiatives


Qualification:

  • A strong academic background, complemented by experience at a leading consultancy, along with additional relevant exposure in a bank’s workout loans department, is considered advantageous

  • Proven track record in (managing) financial restructuring projects

  • Strong financial acumen

  • Experience in financial modelling with ability to build 13-week cash flow forecast and 3-statement financial models with limited oversight

  • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, challenging, and uncertain environment

  • Excellent written and oral communications skills, confident and impactful presenter

  • Driven by values and integrity, talks straight, builds confidence and leads by example

  • Fluency in Turkish and English is essential, additional languages are a plus
