Aluminum Door Worker

An Aluminum Doors Worker job involves fabricating and installing aluminum door components and frames. Key duties include reading blueprints, accurately measuring, cutting, shaping, and assembling aluminum parts, and safely installing completed frames and doors on-site using hand and power tools. The role also requires adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a clean work area.

Responsibilities:

• Fabrication: Read blueprints and technical drawings to understand project specifications.
• Measurement & Cutting: Accurately measure and cut aluminum profiles for frames and doors.
• Assembly: Assemble fabricated aluminum components using various methods, including welding, riveting, or mechanical fastening.
• Installation: Install aluminum door frames, panels, and associated components at construction sites, ensuring precise fittings and secure installations.
• Tool & Material Handling: Safely operate hand and power tools for cutting, drilling, and fitting, and handle materials and equipment.
• Quality Control: Ensure all installations meet specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• Maintenance: Conduct repairs and maintenance on existing aluminum and glass fixtures as needed.
• Work Environment: Maintain a clean, organized workspace and adhere to strict safety protocols on job sites.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in the aluminum and glass field.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools for fabrication and installation.
• Strong attention to detail for precise work.
• Knowledge of safety procedures in a construction environment.
• Physical ability to lift and handle heavy aluminum materials.
