We are seeking a skilled Aluminium Fabricator to cut, shape, assemble, and install aluminium components for various projects, including doors, windows, partitions, and other architectural or industrial structures. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with fabrication tools, machinery, and finishing techniques, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to design specifications.
Job Qualifications:
- High school diploma or technical/vocational certificate in metal fabrication, welding, or related field.
- Proven experience as an aluminium fabricator, welder, or metalworker.
- Familiarity with aluminium cutting, welding, bending, and finishing processes.
- Understanding of technical drawings, blueprints, and fabrication instructions.
- Knowledge of safety standards and proper handling of fabrication tools and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders for fabrication.
- Cut, weld, shape, and assemble aluminum materials according to specifications.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and welding machines for fabrication tasks.
- Ensure all fabricated products meet quality standards and design specifications.
- Install aluminum structures such as doors, windows, frames, partitions, and cladding (as required).
- Perform finishing operations including polishing, grinding, and surface treatments.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines in the workshop and on job sites.
- Report material shortages, defects, or issues to supervisors for timely resolution.
- Assist in training junior fabricators or apprentices (if required).
Key Skills:
- Proficiency in using fabrication tools such as saws, grinders, drill machines, TIG/MIG welders, and bending machines.
- Ability to measure, cut, weld, and assemble aluminium components with precision.
- Ability to interpret and work from technical drawings, schematics, and diagrams.
- Ensuring accuracy in measurements, joints, and finishing.
- Ability to troubleshoot fabrication or assembly issues on-site or in the workshop.
- Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting, cutting, and welding for extended periods.
- Ability to collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and other fabricators.
- Strict adherence to workplace safety standards and use of PPE.
