AM Host

Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and personable AM Host to create a welcoming and memorable experience for our guests during morning hours. As the first point of contact, you will be responsible for greeting guests, managing reservations, and ensuring smooth guest flow. Your enthusiasm and excellent communication skills will set the tone for a positive dining environment, fostering guest satisfaction and loyalty. Responsibilities

• Warmly greet guests upon arrival with genuine enthusiasm and a friendly demeanor
• Manage guest reservations, waitlists, and seating arrangements efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Provide accurate wait times and assist guests with seating options to enhance their experience
• Answer phone inquiries professionally, providing information about the restaurant’s offerings and reservation policies
• Coordinate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless guest flow and timely seating
• Maintain cleanliness and organization at the host stand, ensuring a welcoming environment at all times
• Support guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and courteously, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction

Experience

• Previous host or hostess experience in a food service or restaurant setting preferred
• Strong customer service background with excellent communication skills
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
• Experience in hotel or hospitality environments is a plus
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude
• Knowledge of phone etiquette and guest relations best practices
• Prior experience working with food service teams or in guest-facing roles enhances success in this position

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
