What You Drive at DTNA
General Purpose of the Position:
Perform disassembly, inspection, repair, and assembly of air dryers, oil pumps, gear, and shafts
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Disassemble, inspect, repair, and assemble water pumps, air dryers, gears, and shafts
Contribute to area and company goals by meeting Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost targets
Accurately document production information on a daily basis
Interpret work orders, production routers, BOM, product manuals and/ or receive verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed
Identify nonconforming product and determine the appropriate corrective actions
Manually position and align components in specified relationship to each other with or without jig, fixture or other holding device
Perform go-no-go testing and inspection to ensure parts and components meet production specifications and standards
Understand and comply with ISO9001 requirements
Complete all required daily paperwork and maintain accurate updates on production boards
Conduct 5S audits and complete assigned daily checklists
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying and suggesting process enhancements
Use daily discomfort logs and report any sickness, injury, or safety concern immediately—regardless of severity
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area through consistent housekeeping practices
Demonstrate flexibility by moving to various work areas based on production demands
Be available to work overtime, including weekends, as required by the production schedule
Participate in team huddles, group projects, and one‑on‑one communications to support team alignment
Follow all safety protocols, PPE requirements, and company procedures to ensure a safe working environment
Minimum Requirements:
Education: High school diploma/GED

Other Qualifications:
Established competency in gauging
Ability to collaborate as a team member and work independently
Ability to set up and operate production machinery including hand‑held rotary grinders, impact drivers, CNC machinery, parts washers, and presses
Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers.
Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
Ability to read and comprehend detailed instructions and diagrams, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
High level of attention to detail
