DB RRTS is a part of the DB group, a world-leading global railway company with an extensive organization in Germany and projects around the world. Our company offers a technically sophisticated and customized infrastructure, mobility, and transport solutions. We acquire, initiate, and manage rail operations and maintenance projects outside Europe. We are looking for transport and mobility enthusiasts and entrepreneurs with long-standing experience in railway operations and projects in India or worldwide.
We are currently seeking you to build up and manage the operation and maintenance of a Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) and Mass Rapid Transport System (MRTS) business in Delhi, India. This 82km long Delhi-Meerut line will consist of 25 RRTS and 9 MRTS stations. This will include developing a local O&M company from scratch to full operations, developing and leading a passionate and performance driven team, steering quality, performance, and customer satisfaction as well as ensuring economic success in India.
- AM Operations is the boss of team constituted to 40-50 TA’s
- Will determines the disciplinary measures in case of defaults reported on part of TA.
- Will be responsible for people management process and promotions including recommendations on salary increase.
- Will lead the selection process for suitable candidates for TA Group
- Will conducts the performance dialogs with the staff
- Maintain a high profile in the promotion of safe working conditions and practices for Train attendants so as to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
- Provide technical and professional review to TA’s in all areas, e.g. work methods, to ensure technical consistency and professionalism within the train operations department
- Carry out ambush inspections and regular audits of TA’s on duty to ensure they are following their roles and responsibilities efficiently.
- Ensure that TA’s working conditions are as per the company policy.
- Manage working hours of TA’s in accordance with fatigue management principles.
- Make sure that all incidents reported on part of TA’s are investigated for the purpose of identifying root cause.
- Ensure TA engaged in the incident is given proper counselling to avoid any repetition of similar incidents in future.
- Ensure that for any instruction or communication given to TA’s are recorded and maintained in assurance register.
- Lesson learnt are prepared and properly communicated to all TA’s.
- Monitor the implementation of effective rectification actions.
- Support the training and development of new entrants Train Attendants
- Responsible for Safe and efficient control and management of Train Attendant on mainline and depot (if required).
- Responsible for analysis of failure and coordinate with different departments.
- Maintaining a high standard of services to passengers. Impart required soft skills to TA’s for communication to passengers and give resolution to their problems.
- Ensure timely dissemination of information to the staff.
- Involvements in different audits & document preparations.
- B.Tech, B.E / Diploma in Engineering / Graduate
- 5-8 years of experience in leadership position.
