AM Restaurant Server

What does the ROLE entail?

• Responsible for submitting breakfast and lunch menu selections
• Servers will engage in casual conversation and create memorable guest experiences with personalized and friendly customer service
• Strong guest service orientation
• Fast-paced environment with constant customer interaction and cash handling
• Maintaining well organized area, a sanitary environment and restocking station as needed, completing side work as necessary for daily operation
• Demonstrates Hyatt’s values: Empathy, integrity, respect, inclusion, experimentation, and wellbeing

Your EXPERIENCE:

• Prior restaurant experience greatly preferred

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to stand for long periods of time and continuously walk

• Ability to lift and carry 10lbs-20 lbs

• Strong verbal communication skills

• Gain menu knowledge and be able to give recommendations from the restaurant menu to the guests, upsell menu items, able to accurately relay buffet offerings

• Ability to multi-task and handle a section of tables ranging from 6 to 9 tables

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, weekends and holidays

• Ability to work in a team oriented environment

• Committed to delivering a high level of customer service

• Aware of proper telephone etiquette
